One of the experiences that I advise to do is to go from the apartment to Troya beach. It is totally recommendable, because the landscape is beautiful.

Just leave the San Eugenio Shopping Center aside. In this shopping center, I recommend two places. One is the supermarket «Mercadona», where you can buy everything you need for the house (food, cleaning utensils, perfumery, etc.) And the other is the fashion store «Mango». It is an outlet, where you can get real bargains.

Next step: Roundabout «Gran Bretaña»

After the shopping center we went to the street «Gran Bretaña».

It is very easy to arrive, because there is a roundabout at the end, where on the right is the «Puerto Colón«, and on the left a walk begins.

We will see the restaurant «El Patio», totally recommended site, for its natural charm.

Now, we go for the walk to the left, bordering the sea.

On the way to the beach

On this walk you will find numerous restaurants. Special mention to «La Roca restaurant», for its landscape, its pools and its environment. The walk becomes very pleasant, as it goes along the sea. I advise to go at sunset, to see how the sun is falling, and it is reflected on the sea.

Arriving at the beach

Once past the promenade, we will find numerous beaches, each one better. All the beaches consist of the typical services of hammocks, showers, bathrooms, etc.

Finally you will reach a beach that seems divided in two. That is the beach of Troya. It’s very nice. Its water is crystal clear and with some luck, you will see some waves there.

Another attraction is the Monkey beach, a pub restaurant that is right on the beach. Now it’s undergoing renovations, but I’m sure you’ll be able to enjoy it shortly.
